Thursdays during School terms

As in music, composition in art is everything. The very process leads you to completion. Analysis of
anatomy from the model, researching linear and tonal techniques. Explore flesh painting styles in
oil, from laying- in to final stages. Graduate subtle tone and colour. Come with some drawing skills.
Bring drawing materials and oil paints if you have them a materials list provided on arrival.

Dates –
Commencing term 2 on Thursday 2nd of May 2024 to Thursday 20th of June 2024 for 8 weeks due to Anzac day on the 25th of April
at the Julian Ashton Art School Georges Heights Campus.

Hours: 9.30am –12 noon + 12.45 – 3.15pm
Limited numbers: Subject to availability you may attend morning and/or afternoon

The studio is just off Middle Head Rd. Coming from Mosman Junction, turn right into Best Ave (opposite Cobbittee  St) then left into Read Pl.
Public Transport –  We are on Bus route 111 Mosman South Wharf- Chowder Bay. Alight just after Cobbittee St.
(Frenchy’s Café is a short distance from the Studio)Some parking available.
Bus route No 111 From South Mosman Wharf goes to and from Chowder Bay through Mosman
Junction. This goes past the Studio approximately every half hour. Check with Bus Website for the latest
