Ben Smith is an artist based in Sydney, Australia. In July 2010 he won both the Waverley Art Prize and the Amanda Phillips Emerging Artist Award at the Mosman Art Prize. He has been a finalist in numerous established art prizes across Australia, including the 2009 and 2010 Doug Moran Portrait Prize and the 2010 Sulman Prize. He has had two successful solo shows with Dickerson Gallery Sydney
