Narin started studying full-time at the Julian Ashton Art School in 2001. In 2003 he was awarded the John Olsen Scholarship and the David Wilson Award. After a trip to China in 2004, he held a successful exhibition that sold out. Narin has been teaching landscape painting and drawing at the school since 2005.
