The Julian Ashton Art School, the unique Sydney Art School, is a famous institution with an unparalleled backgound in fine drawing and painting. The school caters for beginners and advanced students alike. Our studio’s are conveniently located in The Rocks, by Circular Quay, opposite The Museum of Contemporary Art, and at Georges Heights, overlooking Sydney Harbour at Mosman .

The Julian Ashton Art School offers full and part time courses to all students if there is a place, from 18 years to mature age.

All our tutors are exhibiting artists dedicated to providing the perfect balance of individual tuition that allows students to proceed at their own pace. Diplomas and Certificates are awarded and Scholarships may be competed for by enrolled students. They include; the Sir William Dobell, John Olsen, Brett Whiteley and Thea Proctor Scholarships. You can now attend classes by The Quay in The Rocks, Sydney or at Georges Heights Mosman where our studio enjoys panoramic views overlooking the entrance of Sydney Harbour.
